Thank you to all who participated in and/or recognized the annual April joint 4 GuysBirthday Celebration (Jens, Chris, Montel and Ernest). This year we expanded the celebration to a joint “5 Guys and A Doll” event with the inclusion of Charles and Tabatha. Jens lives in Germany and could not make the journey, and Charles also had matters that needed his attention. They were not here physically but were here in our Hearts and Minds. We sang Happy Birthday to them. Tom came in for my 92nd on the 26th, My cell was ringing much more than usual. I feel truly Blessed, As usual, Margaret lifted the Bar.
Welcome to my inner sanctum. “An inner sanctum is a highly private, secluded room or space where only a select few are allowed entry. It traditionally refers to the most sacred, restricted area of a temple (Holy of Holies), but is often used figuratively to mean a person’s private office, workspace, or a secret, secure place.”
My Sanctum is centered on the Mother Wit that my birth mother passed on to me at birth and nourished by my father’s wit upon her passing when I was 23 months of age.
Google describes Mother Wit as :“ "Mother wit" refers to natural, innate common sense, intelligence, or practical wisdom, rather than knowledge gained from formal education. Originating as a term for the intuitive wisdom of elder African American women, it signifies sharp survival skills and intuitive understanding. Synonyms include native intelligence, horse sense, wits, gumption, and sagacity.
It is the primary tools that our forefathers have relied upon for survival in North America since 1619.
